ōnō studio was commissioned to create the identity for Prisme, a new cultural institution formed through the merger of Namur’s theatre and cultural centre in 2026. Bringing multiple programmes, audiences and activities together under one name, Prisme is built around the idea of cultural plurality.
The identity takes its cue from the prism itself. By refracting light into multiple facets, the prism transforms a single source into a spectrum of possibilities. This principle became the foundation of the visual system.
Through the use of positive and negative space, simple geometric forms continuously shift, combine and reveal new configurations. The result is a flexible identity that reflects the diversity of experiences brought together by Prisme while maintaining a strong and recognisable presence across all applications.
